DJ Khaled's Proposal To Nicki Minaj Was A Stunt To Promote His New Single
The rapper's marriage proposal to fellow label mate, Nicki Minaj was just a publicity stunt to promote his new single, "I Wanna Be With You" which also features Nicki.
Minaj who exposed this on Monday while talking to Hot 97′s Funkmaster Flex says the stunt was a promotional gag to draw attention to his upcoming album;
"I was shocked just like the rest of the world and I was cracking up laughing with the rest of the world 'cause Khaled is a master at what he does.
Nobody in my real life took it seriously. Everybody just hit me like, 'LOL. Yo, Khaled is crazy. Khaled is my brother and Khaled was not serious with that damn proposal, ya'll, please let it go.
He was kidding. He's not attracted to me, he doesn't like me. We're brother and sister. It was just another way for him to kinda give the world a glimpse on the feeling of this record".

Proposal Accepted? Nicki Minaj Spotted Wearing A Diamond Ring
Nicki Minaj hasn't officially said anything about the awkward marriage proposal from DJ Khaled but she was spotted wearing a huge diamond rock on her engagement finger and there are speculations it looks like the $500,000 diamond ring the DJ proposed with.

Mariah Carey And Nicki Minaj Say Goodbye To American Idol
On Thursday, judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj, who frequently feuded on the singing competition's just-completed season, both announced that they are leaving the show.
Carey's Rep made the news official in a tweet saying;
"W/ global success of "#Beautiful" (#1 in 30+ countries so far) @mariahcarey confirms world tour & says goodbye 2 Idol"
Shortly after, Minaj also took to Twitter to announce her departure, saying;
“Thank you American Idol for a life changning experience! Wouldn’t trade it for the world! Time to focus on the Music!!! Mmmuuuaahhh!!!”
Lol, see them acting like they left voluntarily whereas their contracts were not renewed.

American Idol Producers Set To Fire All Four Judges
After the conclusion of season 12 of the FOX reality competition, its going to be the end for Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and even veteran judge Randy Jackson as they are being fired from the singing show.
According to Wrap;
None of the four judges on the singing competition will be asked to return next season because the producers feel they've lost their core audience and they want it back.
Driven by this belief and the need to attract younger viewers, Fox is set to make major on-air changes to "Idol," the most notable of which will be an entirely new judging panel. New judges pop icon Mariah Carey, rapper Nicki Minaj and country star Keith Urban won't be back. Even original judge Randy Jackson won't survive the blood bath this time around.

Video: Nicki Minaj Talks Mariah Carey Drama, Reality Show Regrets and Label Launch
The rap diva was recently interviewed on 'The Breakfast Club' where she dished on her E! reality show, the availability of her new album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded – The Re-Up, her own record label, and feud with fellow "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey.
On the editing of her E! reality show “Nicki Minaj: My Truth”: “It was clear that [the producers] had an agenda and a pre-conceived idea of what they were going to show. I had to approve everything, but I’m also extremely busy. I kinda felt a little cornered. I would have shown a wider scope of what happens in my day. We’re not only yelling about steamers.”
On the availability of The Re-Up: “It’s hard to get the album because the stores basically said that the last few re-releases they had put out did not do well and they didn’t want to take a chance. Target and Wal-Mart are not selling the album, and Target is actually my biggest retailer. Best Buy only took limited [stock] because they wanted to play it safe. It kinda sets you up to fail.”

Nicki Minaj Gets Her Own Reality Show on E! Network
Nicki Minaj will be giving viewers a peek into her life on a new E! reality special before she makes her debut as a judge on “American Idol” in January.
The three-episode series kicks off Sunday, November 4, at 10:30 p.m. following “Ice Loves Coco.” The 30-minute show will feature candid moments from her personal and professional life with never-before-seen footage.
Can't wait to watch this, curious to see her cray cray world.

2012 BET Awards: Wizkid & Sarkodie Win Best International Act; See Full List
Nigeria’s Afro-Pop Sensation, Wizkid and Ghana’s “Rapperholic”, Sarkodie jointly won the Best AFrican Act at last night’s BET Awards in Los Angeles.
This is Wizkid‘s second major international award as he won the award for Best African Act at the 2011 edition of the MOBO Awards.

The cover shows the rapper’s face covered in pink, purple and yellow makeup to go along with the paint splattered backdrop. She rocks long eyelashes and a serious look which makes me wonder if we are safe... can't wait to hear what she's been cooking up in the studio.
