The nominations were announced on Thursday and Kendrick Lamar who
recently controversially boasted that he’s the“King of New York” leads with 14 nominations. Drake is close behind
with 13 nominations, followed by J. Cole with 10.
Snoop Dogg will host
this year’s show, which will hold in Atlanta on September 28, and air on BET on
