Ghanaian Airplane, Antrak Air Catches Fire In The Air

Passengers aboard an Antrak Air flight from Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana to the capital Accra escaped death when the pilot navigated the faulty airplane to safe-landing in Tamale.

According to Mr. Charles Nyaaba, a passenger on the plane, he said one of the engines of the airplane caught fire, mid-air and this caused one of the fans of the plane to stop functioning. The pilot quickly returned to Tamale and managed to land safely.

Mr. Nyaaba said panic-stricken passengers prayed and wailed whilst the pilot navigated the faulty airplane to try and save their lives. He said that the bewildered passengers are scrambling to reach their family members and they do not know what alternative plans are being made to convey them to Accra.

In a statement released by the Chief Commercial Officer of Antrak Air, Mr. Antwi Boasiako, its states;

This isn't the first time 23 year old Asap Rocky (whose real name is Rakim Mayers) has been linked to Rihanna but both parties denied any romantic involvement.

He was the opening act on her Diamonds tour and they were rumored to be hooking up and Rihanna often tweets ASAP's lyrics and instagrammed a shot of them hugging on stage.

Chinedu Amadi,27, a Nigerian studying in England has been sentenced to 20 months in prison for attempting to marry a stranger, EU and also a Hungarian national, Szilvia Basco-Pokolab to allow him stay in the UK. 

Amadi had paid £5,000 to an unknown 'fixer' to arrange the bogus wedding but he ran out of luck when they were caught as they were about taking their vows at the Leicester Registry Office on February 14th of this year.

After their arrest, investigators discovered Basco-Porkolab was involved in an earlier sham marriage to another Nigerian, Ikechukwu Egbe, at Greta Green in May 2011.

Kourtney Kardashian Slams Paternity Rumors As DNA Test Result Shows Scott Disick Is Mason's Father

The reality star has finally squashed the rumors brought by male model, Micheal Girgenti about being the father of her son, Mason after he claimed they slept together while she and Scott were broken up in March 2009.

Kourtney released a lab result of a paternity test taken on August 12 which proves his allegation were wrong and Scott indeed is the biological father of her son.

In a statement to E! News on Thursday, after Girgenti initiated legal action seeking joint custody of Mason she said;

“After three-and-a-half years of rumors and lies being spread by an individual I met briefly at a photo shoot, I am setting the record straight that Scott is Mason’s father. While it saddens me to have to address these ridiculous lies especially when the truth was never in doubt this story must be put to rest.”

Chris Attoh Quits Tinsel, Announces Resignation

The Ghanaian actor announced his resignation from the Mnet Africa series, Tinsel where he plays the character Kwame Mensah.

According to a press statement issued via his management, the actor says;

"The last seven years on Tinsel have been an incredible journey and experience for me.  Working with Mnet was phenomenal and it took a lot of deliberation but I have decided to pursue other career interests."

The role of the character, Kwame Mensah will be written out over the next few months and Chris will shoot his last scenes during the month of September.

When the posters came up on the hostel walls that there was going to be a Talent hunt show coming up which was organised by Femi Akinwunmi, I quickly registered for it as a rapper. I practised my lines and waited for d-day. 3 days to the event, I woke up with fever and to find my body covered with little sores...I had chicken pox. I used calamine lotion like my life depended on it, but they only seemed to increase by the day. 

Then came the day of the competition. Everyone dressed up and left one after the other to the venue. I was in pain from the heat but in greater pain from being in that room rather than on that stage. I was covered in calamine lotion, disappointed as all my hope that I would have miraculously recovered in those 2 days had gone and with it, my dream of a CD player.

 On the real meaning behind ‘Dirty Laundry:

“For a long time I wasn't happy, but that had nothing to do with Beyoncé, that had to do with me trying to get my life in order and make better decisions for myself. I’m seeing all these wonderful things happen for her and I am happy for her. But I want a path. I want things to pop off for me, too. Not on her level but whatever my level is supposed to be.”

On why she was hesitant to open up before:

“I didn't want anybody to judge me. But now I don’t care,” she says. “Judge me if you want to. And as a matter of fact, it won’t even count, ‘cause the only person who can judge is God.” 

On her workout regime and finding her strength:
