Video: Kanye West Explains Why He Named New Album "Yeezus"
Kanye held his album listening party Monday night at Milk Studios in New York. The star-studded crowd including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and DJ Khaled gathered to hear West play each track and speak out about his secretive sixth album.
On the title: “I wanna explain something about the title Yeezus. Simply put, West was my slave name and Yeezus is my god name.”
On the thought process: “Collectively, collaboratively, we didn't give a fuck about what nobody said from the outside looking in. We just wanted to make the best product possible and this is just the beginning of an entirely new mentality of how to make music directly for the people.”

YouTube Strips Chris Brown, Beyoncé and Major Record Labels Of Over Two Billion Fake Views
Major record labels such as Universal, Sony/BMG, and RCA, were stripped by YouTube of over two billion views in the past month. Universal was hit the hardest, losing one billion views in the raid, and artists such as Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Beyonce, and Avril Lavigne were all stripped of over 100 million phony views, violating YouTube's terms of service regarding view manipulation. In addition, videos from over 500 prominent channels were also stripped of views.
According to The Daily Dot, Google underwent a massive cleanup last week, retracting billions of views believed to be falsified by "black hat" view count-building techniques used by third-party companies to inflate the view tallies as a means to manipulate a video's popularity and its increase exposure on YouTube.
