A day after his social media company went public, the 28 year old
multibillionaire, married his longtime love Priscilla Chen, 27, during a small ceremony at his home in Palo Alto, Calif. Saturday.
The news was announced on Facebook where both Mark and Chan added a life event to their May 19, 2012 timeline saying Married.
The pair met during Zuckerberg's sophomore year at Harvard University, where he first nursed Facebook as a dorm-room project. Chan graduated this year from medical school at the University of California, San Francisco, according to her Facebook page.
According to published reports, Zuckerberg designed the very simple ruby ring himself and less than 100 guests were in attendance for Zuckerberg and Chen's backyard ceremony.
