The Couple issued an official statement welcoming their newly born daughter to the world and thanking fans for their prayers and support. Blue Ivy Carter was born late on Saturday, January 7th at Lennox Hill Hospital in New York City.
The statement was released through Beyonce’s website on January 9th
along with a new track from Hov titled ‘Glory’ which features samples of
Blue’s voice, crediting the 7lbs newborn as B.I.C.
Contrary to initial reports, which stated that the birth was a
Cesarean section delivery, the couple’s statement read thus;
