The six-year marriage between Nike Oshinowo and Dr. Tunde Soleye has collapsed!

The stunning former beauty queen and entrepreneur, and her medical doctor and businessman better half no longer live together, ENCOMIUM Weekly authoritatively gathered.

While the style icon lives in an apartment in Ikoyi (Lagos), her former lover is all by himself in Parkview Estate, also in Ikoyi (Lagos).

Celebrity sources who spoke to ENCOMIUM Weekly in the course of many weeks while we investigated the troubled marriage confirmed that the couple are no longer together, in spite of scores of interventions to resolve their differences.

They claimed that the union broke down in the middle of 2012 - and all efforts to resolve the differences between Adenike Asabi Oshinowo and Dr. Ayotunde Soleye have been unsuccessful. And when we spoke to the couple last week, they confirmed that indeed their marriage was troubled, and both of them now live apart.

Dr.Tunde Soleye Confirms Split From Nike Oshinowo

After six years of marital bliss, Dr. Tunde Soleye and Nike Oshinowo have officially ended their marriage. Dr. Soleye confirmed it in an interview with Encomium magazine saying;

“We are no longer living together. Nike and I have sent out a joint statement on the issue. It is simple and clean. This is not a scandal. We had three options, the best of which is to tell the world the truth that we now live apart. We have been living apart for a couple of months now. We see occasionally. She calls me when she wants  and I speak with her too. There's no fight. I have been to where she lives. We are still friends. We are going through a difficult time and we will come out of it.

According to sources, Nike Oshinowo moved out of Dr Soleye's Lekki home mid last year and even when they stepped out together at Folorunsho Alakija's thanksgiving party in September 2012, they were already living apart. Nike now lives in VI, while Dr Soleye has moved to Parkview Estate, Ikoyi.

For the past 6 years, Lagos doctor, Tunde Soleye and ex-beauty queen, Nike Oshinowo were a hot item on the social scene. This was on account of their high-profile marriage. On the one hand, Dr. Soleye, a popular Lagos socialite, who owns Duro Soleye Hospital in Lagos, which he inherited from his late father, had been linked to many big babes.

And on the other hand, Nike Oshinowo enjoyed cover pages of many celebrity magazines. She was also the darling of paparazzi’s for years on account of her beautiful looks and style.

When the news broke 6 years ago that Nike had gotten married to Dr. Soleye, it was shocking to many celebrities. One, because he was legally married in Nigeria to his ex-wife Dr. Olufunmilayo Soleye and was romantically linked to another female friend of his who lived in England.

To enable Nike enjoy her marriage to him, Soleye divorced his age long wife funmi who is the mother of his kids.
