Laide Bakare's Ex-Husband Wants A Paternity Test Of Her New Born

Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare welcomed a baby boy on Friday May 31 in New York with her new husband Tunde Oriowo and now her ex-husband, Olumide Okunfulure (pictured above with her) is claiming the possibility of being the father of the new born.

Olumide is claiming he was still married to Laide when she fell pregnant and quit their marriage controversially without hinting him. He's basically saying he's had intercourse with Laide in the last nine months and says he's the biological father of the baby boy.

According to him;

"I heard that my wife delivered a baby boy barely two months after she made a release that we were divorced, and she's saying that the baby belongs to one Mr. Tunde Oriowo. That's a lie, wicked lie. I'm the biological father. I have pictures to show that we were always together, but she deliberately kept the pregnancy out of my knowledge. 

In other words, it might be the result of her extra-marital affair without my knowledge, because there were cases that she would leave me and our daughter in the US, come to Nigeria all in the name of promoting her movies but staying with married men in Lagos. I couldn't monitor her because I was not always in Nigeria.

Popular Yoruba actress, Laide Bakare recently left her husband, Olumide Okunfulire for another man, Tunde Oriowo, after allegedly claiming her husband is legally married to another wife with two children without her knowledge. She released a statement through her publicist to this effect (in case you missed it read it HERE). 

Now her ex-husband, Mr. Okunfulire had a chat with Encomium weekly saying she's a lair, a cheat and isn't 100% sure if their only daughter is his. Read his interview below;

Your wife, laide released a statement that she dumped you for another businessman, Mr. Tunde Oriowo because she realized that you were legally married to another wife who had given you two children, not actually single as you told her when the relationship started?

How could I have married two women legally in Nigeria? I should be in Jail by now because there is a law that condemns such an act. How come she has not gone to court instead of media for separation? Separation can only come through the court.

American government gave Laide Green card because she is legally married to me, we had a court marriage in Nigeria also. When she was supposed to be a faithful wife, she would leave her matrimonial home to stay with married men in Lagos, all in the name of being actress or career lady. I couldn't monitor her because i am not always in Nigeria. In fact, there was a time she left our baby, Similoluwa with me for eight months in America in the name of career lady, i had become a nursing father. I have been trying to manage my home the way i could.

The Yoruba actress is no longer married to Mr. Okunfulire, her US based husband, read a press statement below sent out by her publicist; 

We would like to announce to the general public on behalf of Nollywood star actress, Laide Bakare that she has officially opted out of her relationship with Mr. Okunfulire, her former husband. 

While it lasted, the actress showed the utmost level of maturity, in spite of the “glaring injustice’ from her former husband. Laide has endured the marriage with Mr. Okunfulire to whom she displayed total affection. But things fell apart when she discovered that she was indeed married to a man with a legally married wife and two children not a single man she thought he was as told her by Mr. Okunfulire when the relationship started.
