Rumors have begun to surface that Jennifer Hudson and her fiance David Otunga have called off their engagement. 

The duo has been engaged for 3 years and have a 2-year-old son together named David Otunga Jr.

An anonymous rep told Star Magazine:

"They were going to tie the knot in August in Jennifer's hometown of Chicago... but it's not going to happen."

Fortunately, according to E! News, the rumors are false.

Their spokesperson released a statement saying:“I can confirm that the story is not true.
