Photos: Bola Tinubu Buries Mum

The remains of Alhaja Abibat Mogaji, mother of the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, National Leader, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was buried yesterday, Sunday 16th at the Vault and Garden Cemetery, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Mogaji, who was the President General, Association of Nigerian Market Women and Men died in her home on Saturday at Sunday Adigun, Alausa in Ikeja at the age of 96.
Prayers were offered for her at the Lagos Central Mosque, then her remains was taken to the Ikoyi cemetery for the final rites after which people proceeded to the Blue Roof, Lagos Television, Ikeja, where special prayers were offered for the repose of the deceased.
The event was well attended with Dignitaries like; Governors of Edo, Osun, Ekiti, Ogun, Oyo, Adam Oshiomole, Alhaji Rauf Aregbesola, Dr. Kayode Fayemi, Abiola Ajimobi, Ibikunle Amosun respectively, ACN Lagos State Chairman; Prince Oluyole Olusi; Wife of the Governor of Lagos State, Abimbola Fashola, Business Mogul, Aliko Dangote; former senator, Musiliu Obanikoro among others.

Former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu Loses Mum

Abibatu Mogaji: dies at age of 96
Alhaja Abibat Mogaji, mother of the National leader, Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu is dead.

Mrs. Mogaji, 96, died at her residence in Ikeja at about 6:00 p.m. today, June 15th. She was until her death the President General of Lagos State Market Women Association.

She will be buried on tomorrow morning at the Ikoyi Muslim Cemetery according to Islamic rites; while reception and muslim prayers follow immediately at Ikeja, Lagos.

May she rest in peace, amen.

Bola Tinubu's First Nation Airways Begins Operation

Ex-governor Bola Tinubu's new airline company - First Nation Airways (formerly Bellview Airline) has commenced operation.

The resuscitated airline, which the former governor and ACN Chieftain allegedly bought for $30 million, started operations on Thursday November 3, 2011, with its first flight plying Lagos/Abuja route.
