Three 'One-Chance' Robbers Beaten and Thrown Off Bridge in Abuja

Three suspected one-chance thieves who were trying to rob a passenger in the taxi on Saturday, August 4th were nabbed, beaten and thrown off a bridge at Mabuchi Abuja.

The taxi was moving along and someone inside “the victim” seemed to be in apprehension and panic. Passers-by noticed and gave the taxi a hot chase till it stopped. The victim explained his ordeal that when he entered the taxi, the men inside demanded for his phone and the bag he was carrying.”

“The kidnappers were later dragged out of the vehicle and were seriously beaten to pulp. One of them died in the course of the attack. 

Then an SSS Agent came and decided to handle the matter by taking the suspects into custody. He handcuffed the two that were alive but while he was calling for backup, the unthinkable happened, some sections of the crowd liaised with themselves and suddenly rushed forward, pushing the suspects from the fly-over bridge in other to finish them off like their dead colleague.”

Did Davido Gets Slapped in Abuja Due to Arrogance?

Here's how NigeriaFilms is reporting it;

We reliably gathered that Davido was recently harassed and hit by a uniformed man at the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

According to the angry source, the musician was invited for the recently concluded Nokia Rap Battle show alongside other prominent acts by one Nosa, a fast rising music producer cum manager. The show ended and according to the source, Davido who was said to be drunk to stupor insisted on leaving in a friend’s car instead of going in the one the ones that brought him, and other top artistes and crew from the hotel.

He insisted though and Nosa being his host had to drive behind them, bubble later burst when the car conveying Davido was stopped by some military men for the routine check especially at that time of the night. 

Our source revealed that the obviously tipsy Davido jumped out of the car and started boasting "don't you know me, what the fuck is wrong with you guys..." He started shouting about who he is and what guts the Mopol men had to stop his friend`s car.

BREAKING NEWS: One-Storey Building Collapses in Abuja, Several Still Trapped

A storey building has collapsed in Apo mechanic village trapping six people. So far, rescuers have removed three persons from the rubbles and rushed them to the National Hospital, Abuja but three others are still trapped.


The spokesman for the National Emergency Management Agency, Yushau Shuaibu, has confirmed this saying; "I cannot confirm the total number of casualties for now because local volunteers are still assisting us in rescue efforts,  " he said, adding that a number of people were still trapped in the rubbles.

Bishop Oyedepo Completes N2 Billion Goshen City

 

Bishop David Oyedepo has completed a multi million naira Goshen project, called Goshen City, situated along Kilometre 26, Abuja-Keffi Road, in Abuja. The new Goshen City is a camp like Canaanland, which is situated in Ota, Ogun State.

Goshen City, which sits atop over 560 acres of land, has a primary school (Kingdom Heritage Model School), a secondary school (Faith Academy), a youth centre, a mini housing unit, a 15, 000-seater auditorium, printing press and so many other facilities. It cost the church a whooping N2 billion and three years to make the Goshen project a reality.

Massive Explosion Hits UN Building, Abuja!

A devastating explosion rocked the United Nations Building in the Central Area of Abuja on Friday morning killing a number of people, leaving others trapped and causing heavy damage.

Eyewitnesses said the explosion was caused by a suicide bomber who rammed a car loaded with explosives into the building having driven past the security barriers. 

 

Rescue workers, security operatives  moved in promptly to evacuate the building.

The explosion is believed to have been perpetrated by the Boko Haram Islamic sect.  Suspected members of the sect had on Thursday hit police stations in Adamawa and Borno States before proceeding to rob banks in those states.
