NIGERIA'S goal king and one-time African Footballer Of The Year, Rashidi Yekini, is dead. The former striker died Friday evening in Kwara in a private hospital after a prolonged strange illness.
He is to be buried today, Saturday in his hometown of Offa according to Muslim rites.
Yekini was Nigeria's national team highest/record goal scorer, scoring 37 goals in 58 appearances.
He is survived by 3 Wives and 3 Children.
May he rest in perfect peace... (Amen).
