On Sunday, 4th of August, the Actor’s Guild of Nigeria honoured Nollywood star Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde at the Oriental Hotel, V.I, Lagos for being enlisted in Time Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world. Omotola was accompanied by her husband Captain Matthew Ekeinde and four kids.

Present at the event were Nollywood actresses, actors, entertainers and more including, Rita Dominic, Segun Arinze, Ini Edo, Monalisa Chinda, Chidi Mokeme, Kelechi Amadi-Obi and the AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima.

Rita Dominic Covers the Latest Issue of Complete Fashion Magazine

Rita Dominic produces her first movie -"The Meeting"

The Movie is all about a Lagos- based corporate executive Mankinde Esho (Femi Jacobs) who finds himself at the mercy of political patronage, bureaucratic red-tape and his tender heart when he embarks on a one day business trip to Abuja to secure a government contract.

Screenplay was by Tunde Babalola & Mildred Okwo. “The Meeting” is produced by the Audrey Silva Company and is set for release later  in 2012. The movie is executive produced by Rita Dominic & Mildred Okwo and directed by Mildred Okwo.

The cast includes Rita Dominic, Jide Kosoko, Basorge Tariah Jnr, Kate Henshaw, Nse Ikpe Etim, Chinedu Ikedieze and Chika Chukwu. 

Other stars crossing over from the small screen included Femi Jacobs (Tinsel), Linda Ejiofor (Tinsel) and Kehinde Bankole (Soul Sisters).
