PHOTONEWS: Petrol Tanker Crash On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway



A petrol tanker fell on the Berger area of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway negotiating a sharp bend spilling its content on the highway yesterday.

A timely intervention of the company  handling the Lagos/ Ibadan Expressway, Bi-Courtney  Highway Services Limited (BHSL),  and some government agencies  on Saturday prevented another explosion on the road.

Mountain of Fire Church Completes N2.5 Billion Private University

Mountain of Fire Church has joined other Nigerian churches that have private universities, after completing their own university situated inside The Prayer City along Lagos/Ibadan Expressway called - Mountain Top University.

Multiple Accident On Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Early Friday Morning...Two Dead


The accident involved a trailer carrying heavy steel pipes and another loaded with goods and seven other cars.

The accident which occurred in the early hours of Friday along Berger road on the Magodo axis of the Lagos Ibadan express way  has killed two people and left nine others injured.

According to Channels TV, the accident happened as a result of a wreckage of an accident that happened last night on the high way which led other vehicles to crash into them. The trailer with the heavy pipes ran over two of the seven cars, killing a woman on the spot.With Heavy traffic built up on both sides of the expressway, officials of different government agencies such as Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Lagos State Transport Management Agency (LASEMA) and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) were present at the scene of the accident for rescue operations and to clear the wreckage.
