Jay-Z Set To Release New Album ‘Magna Carta Holy Grail’

During halftime of the NBA Finals on Sunday night, Jay-Z announced in a commercial for Samsung Mobile that his new album, Magna Carta Holy Grail will arrive July 7.
Through his partnership with Samsung Mobile, who purchased one million copies of the album, 1 million Samsung Galaxy fans will be able to download the app on June 24 and get the album for free on July 4, three days before the rest of the world does on July 7.
In the three-minute spot, the Roc Nation mogul can be seen working on new music with Famed producers, Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Pharrell, and Swizz Beatz who are the producers on the album.

Video: Kanye West Explains Why He Named New Album "Yeezus"
Kanye held his album listening party Monday night at Milk Studios in New York. The star-studded crowd including Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Timbaland, Busta Rhymes and DJ Khaled gathered to hear West play each track and speak out about his secretive sixth album.
On the title: “I wanna explain something about the title Yeezus. Simply put, West was my slave name and Yeezus is my god name.”
On the thought process: “Collectively, collaboratively, we didn't give a fuck about what nobody said from the outside looking in. We just wanted to make the best product possible and this is just the beginning of an entirely new mentality of how to make music directly for the people.”
