Jay-Z Supports Obama On Gay Marriage (VIDEO)

Following President Obama’s endorsement of same-sex marriage last week, the Roc Nation mogul voiced his support.

Here's what the rapper told CNN during a press conference for his “Made in America” festival in Philadelphia.

“I’ve always thought it as something that’s still holding the country back, What people do in their own homes is their business. You can choose to love whoever you love. It’s no different than discriminating against blacks. It’s discrimination plain and simple.”

He responded to critics who claim it will cost Obama votes in the upcoming election. “I think it’s the right thing to do, so whether it costs him votes or not… Again, it’s not about votes, it’s about people,” he explained. “I think it’s the right thing to do as a human being.”
